Berkeley Square hosts home to private members club Morton’s. It was original built for in 1823 for Chancellor of the Exchequer and is famously known for being the Bentley Brother favourite social scenes in the 1920’s. The bar brings architecture, fame and a sheer exclusivity to streets of Mayfair. Being open for so many years Morton’s puts itself on the map and being run by Marlon Abela who is also known for being a restaurateur extraordinaire. Morton’s club London is made up of four storey’s including a night lounge, bar , restaurant and club.
The interior of Mortons set’s it aside from many other clubs with modern and contemporary artwork by Frank Auerback, Henri Matisse and Joan Miro layering the walls. Having a collection by three renowned incredible artists instantly makes it a need to be part of along with various other artists also showcasing incredible pieces. Glass panels allow the natural light to flow through on the inside gazing out on Berkeley Square.
The ethos of the building holds so much culture and history and each floor has its own story to tell and experience to hold.
The cocktails on offer are specially created by the incredibly talented mixologists of Morton’s. The menu has a wide variety and a drink for everybody. The ‘Eight Clouds’ cocktail is tequila based with fresh pomegranate, orange blossom bitters and honey. All the ingredients shaken together gives the kick of tequila but then fresh fruit flavours to soothe the after. A more refreshing drink is the ‘Riddle’ which consists of vodka , fresh grapes, elderflower and apple juice. The kind of drink you can dance the night away with. Morton’s club London offers cocktails only exclusive to them and you’d be silly to not work your way through the menu and try them all. The combination of flavours is used so carefully to create unique flavours after trying it becomes an addiction. A definite must try if you’re the kind of person to ways try something new is the ‘Spicy Dog.’ A mixture of fresh ginger, chilli vodka and home made honey syrup. Not for the faint hearted.
The private members club is a privilege to attend but it helps to have contacts as being able to visit you’ll need to be invited by an already member or be referred by two existing members to become a potential member. It doesn’t get anymore exclusive then Morton’s.

You don’t find any more glamorous then Madison’s rooftop bar overlooking St Pauls. Rooftop bars are the place to be in London come summer and winter and Madison’s offers only the finest with its beautiful views, elegant crowd and exquisite drinks. Flying high six floors above London you are spoilt for choice with an inside and outside area perfect for any occasion with sofas, outdoor heaters and large glass windows to admire the view.
The cocktail menu rages widely with a drink for everybody’s tastes and a delicate tapas menu with several delicious bits to be served along side it. For those a little bit peckish and wanting to have some nibbles with there drinks the bar offers a wide range of hot and cold snacks. Everything is different and freshly made making Madison’s unique bar snacks different from your everyday bar. Buttermilk chicken with coriander Yoghurt and Jalapenos mixing spicy and cool to give your taste buds a run for there money. Sautéed mini chorizo sausage, honey and toasted mixed seeds being a favourite of the menu and sautéed tiger prawns with yuzu and mirin glaze, cumber and sesame salad giving you a range of separate flavours merged together to create a unforgettable taste. But it doesn’t end there.
If you’re feeling a little more hungry after a long day at work, Madison’s terrace and lounge offers some hot ‘Josper’ snacks in order to line your stomach for the big night ahead. Baby back ribs are served with rose harissa and treacle glaze. The classic hot dog with French mustard and caramelised onions or a choice of the ‘Madisons triple duck burger and the classic topped with bacon placing you back to those summer barbecues.
When it come to the cocktails Madison’s never fails to disappoint with the there own carefully crafted range prepared to the highest quality. The Madison Sour takes your classic New York Sour and adds its own twist with Plantation dark washed with butter and almond, Marco’s mix, egg white and port. If the weathers hot and you’re quenching for a cold refreshing drink this is the perfect place. Ciroc Vodka , Apricot Brandy served with cloudy apple juice and orange citrus bitters. If you like to be a little bit more adventurous then the ‘Besper’ is the ideal drink for your taste. Ketel one Vodka with Tanqueray No10 Gin, Regal Rogue Wild Rose and few dashes of rhubarb bitters, with a lemon twist. The right kind of kick to start your night. Sharers are also available with cocktails bigger then your head and perfect for the upcoming girls night out!
A hot selection are also served during the winter time to warm those winter nights as you sip and look over the night time London Skyline.
Being well known for its large Moet range you can order any of your preference by glass or bottle.
From the night out ahead or an informal lunchtime meeting Madison’s offers an atmosphere of another level with a mix of history, culture and a view never to get bored of.
