Albert’s club is a relatively new addition to London’s members club scene having recently re-opened its doors at the Beaufort House just off Kings Road in Chelsea. Its latest venue has been built within a four-storey town house, three times bigger than its original venue. The classic English charm that its members have come to love, is still seen throughout the new venue, with the interior led by Olivia Alexandra. Albert’s cub London was named after Albert of Victoria and is inspired by a heritage of British royalty, which suits its upmarket Chelsea members. It mixes British elegance with European glamour and this is epitomised in its rich brass tones and plush velvets offset by geometric patterns and vibrant signature Albert’s wallpapers and flourishes. Its combination of a rich colour scheme with lively foliage, makes for an effortless transition from day to night.
Members have access to all of Albert’s facilities, including the Club Room with an all-day restaurant and bar. An integral part of the members’ experience is the restaurant headed by the ex-head chef at The Ivy, chef Alessio Piras. The menu is comprised of modern Italian plates that inspire a true Italian spirit with its top quality and fresh ingredients. The bar is complete with a mahogany whisky bar and martini bar, and members can expect the finest assortment of spirits including a whisky from both the birth and death of Albert of Victoria. Other areas that members can spread their time across include a private dining room ideal for private events and meetings, as well as the Penthouse Champagne Bar perfect for intimate drinks into the evening. The Champagne Bar is luxe with its plush leather banquettes perfect for nestling into with one of their classic or signature cocktails, like their spiced pear mojito.
Albert’s club London offers its members versatile spaces that encapsulate its traditional style of British heritage and mixes this with a modern edge. During the day members experience a relaxed and sophisticated environment and by night this turns into an electric ambience with private showings from music artists, DJ appearances and exclusive access to the elite private members club, Raffles Chelsea. All prospective members need to be proposed and seconded by a current member. This ensures that Albert’s maintains its comfortable and intimate community, where all members are in some way connected to the founding partners and committee. If you’re lucky enough to be selected, Lifetime membership can be obtained for a once-off payment of £2,500, or for a £250 joining fee and a £650 annual membership fee.

Keystone Crescent is a subterranean members-only lounge bar below the streets of King’s Cross. Its ethos is rooted in connecting like-minded, friendly and sociable young professionals, and this reflected in its open membership policy. Unlike other Members Clubs, anyone can become a member of the Keystone Crescent club London by paying a once-off joining fee of £35. It prides itself on stimulating a non-pretentious atmosphere where its members can relax in a comfortable environment and enjoy the simple pleasure of great conversation and superb cocktails. Its interior is inspired by the late 50s and 60s and its cosy ambience is epitomised in its gentle background music and warmly lit interior furnished with winged arm chairs by the fire and crushed velvet curtains.
Keystone Crescent has a capacity of fifty people; and is the ultimate hideaway for members. Its entrance is hidden behind a secret grey door with a white neon crescent light. Members enjoy exclusive access by letting themselves in using a keypad and a code that changes on a monthly basis. Once members have entered the intimate oasis, they then need to display their gold keyring to a bartender before they can order their drinks, and this further establishes a sense of exclusivity. Their cocktails change regularly and the list is usually small but perfectly formed to combine the best seasonal fruit, herbs and spices with their home-made mixers and range of spirits. Dapper barmen are ready to masterfully craft your choice of cocktail; and for £9 members can sit near the glowing fire and sip on a Lavender Tonic with lavender flowers, cinchona bark, lime zest and their choice of gin, vodka or tequila spirit. The service at Keystone Crescent club London is centred around making its members feel at home and one of its most subtle efforts includes keeping members’ unfinished bottles of spirits behind the bar so that they can finish it the next time they come to the Club. Their mixology is flawless, but members can also order from a comprehensive list of wines served in stemless glassware; the bar team is also happy to create familiar classics like a Martini, old fashioneds and Negronis. A snack menu is also available to accompany one or many of their fabulous drinks.
Members are welcome to the cosy lounge from 6pm to 4am every Wednesday to Sunday and can bring up to four guests with them. Keystone Crescent club London is the perfect spot to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink with friends in an elegant and intimate surrounding, but another perk that members can benefit from is that it can also be booked as a party space for up to thirty-five guests. Members can arrange an evening event or even enjoy the space for an after-party to round off their night.
Members Clubs are ubiquitous in London, but what makes the Keystone Crescent stand out is its good value for its members. It is as exclusive, intimate and stylish as the most iconic Members Clubs in London, but is a hidden gem with its affordable pricing.
