Located in Soho, Union Club is becoming the ultimate bohemian private members’ club full of charm with their unique setting for dining, drinking, socializing and events.
Union Club was set up in 1993 by Pete Cross and Chef Carolyn Dawson who have transformed this established Soho institution, home to those looking for a secluded escape from the hurly burly of the City.
The interior at Union Club is displayed throughout with a large outstanding collection of art and furniture.
Moving onto the food, Chef Carolyn Dawson, who is much travelled and members enjoy her reliable home-made cookery, executed with style and flair, has created the best modern British style cuisine and menu, Union food is robust and unpretentious with an international twist.
Dishes to try include rabbit and pistachio terrine, agen prunes and toast, cured trout with lemongrass, lime, chilli and coriander and Jerusalem artichoke soup and truffle to start your dining experience with. A great selection of mains such as the pan-fried wild sea bass, mash, spinach and crab sauce vierge and soft polenta, violet artichokes and salsa verde. Best to always end off with a lovely dessert poached pear, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and madeleines and caramel panna cotta and roasted plum.
Of course, we expect nothing but the best at Union Club and the team pride themselves in making everything fresh on site. The team make their own pasta, cakes, tarts, pies and puddings every morning. The quality of ingredients is a priority for the kitchen team and focus their attention to suppliers that can deliver fresh quality produce daily. Seasonally, the Chef makes various preserves that are award-winning available for members to buy.
From food to wine, the wine list changes often, based on the season and produce available. Members have the advantage of going for a relaxing summer’s evening on the sunny roof terrace or sitting down to a robust roast beef lunch on a winter Sunday.

The rub is that you must be a member to even order a starter, and it catered for the Olympics, US presidents and some of the most powerful people […]
